Diversity Specialist – Mental Health Clinician

Diversity Specialist – Mental Health Clinician
As Counseling Associates continues to grow, we are seeking a dynamic Diversity Specialist to join our team of Mental Health professionals. The Diversity Specialist will have a dual-role as a mental health counselor and will work closely with our clinical staff to grow our cultural competency and challenge ourselves to develop our understanding of diversity and its role in our profession. At this time, the majority of our clinicians are working remotely, allowing for additional flexibility. Our safety committee is regularly evaluating the current COVID climate to carefully alter our policies and procedures as State and CDC guidelines allow.

The right candidate will hold current licensure (LICSW / MLADC / LCMHC / Psychologist), have a passion for helping clients, and be driven to strengthen our cultural competency in a world where one’s world view has been shaped by many different factors.

At Counseling Associates, we take a strengths-based, respectful approach to both our work with our clients and with each other. To effectively support our expanding integrative practice, we are looking for diverse providers with a commitment to both clinical excellence and professional growth.

Our practice has supported our staff and client base during the Covid-19 conditions by using Office 365 for real time communication and Zoom for Healthcare (or telephone) for continuity with clients. This kind of flexibility and support is what sets Counseling Associates apart! We also encourage clinicians’ pursuit of professional interests and development of their practice, interests, and specialties.

Summary of Requirements – Applicants must possess the following:
  • Masters or Doctoral clinical degree
  • Licensed as a mental health professional in New Hampshire as LCMHC, LICSW, MLADC, or Psychologist
  • Commitment to ongoing professional growth, ethics, and clinical excellence
  • Excellent communication skills, professionalism, and collaborative abilities
  • Available for a work schedule that is responsive to client needs
